A snatch block is the cheapest, simplest way to dramatically increase your winch’s pulling power. Run your winch line through the snatch block and back to an anchor, and you’ve effectively doubled the mechanical advantage — turning a 5,000 lb winch into a 10,000 lb pull, or letting an 8,000 lb winch handle a 16,000 lb load.
It also lets you change the angle of your pull when the recovery point isn’t directly in line with your winch. If you’ve ever been stuck at a bad angle, you already know why this is the first accessory most off-roaders add.
KFI’s ATV-SB is built from 3/16″ steel with a 3/4″ pin diameter and 1.5″ hook holes — heavy enough for serious recovery work but compact enough to live in your tool roll. Powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Rated for an 8,000 lb working load.
